The on-machine CCD imaging measuring system was developed for highly efficient production of precision small die components such as carbide punches and dies and resin mold cores. "NAGASE VISION" is a revolutionary on-machine measuring system designed for high-reciprocating grinding machines that excel in machining efficiency, quality, and accuracy. It overcame the extremely difficult challenges of being mounted on a horizontal table in a wet environment to realize a CCD image measurement system with repeatable reproducibility and accuracy of ±1μm or less. ≪Features of On-Machine CCD Imaging Measurement System≫
- This CCD image measuring system can be mounted on NAGASE's ultra-precision high-reciprocation grinding machines and other horizontal surface form grinding machines.
- This measuring system is ideal for highly efficient forming of small parts that require high precision, such as carbide stamping punches and dies for leadframes, connector terminals, and semiconductor encapsulation molds.
- The shape of the workpiece after machining can be checked by CCD image sensor. Measurement accuracy is ±1μm or less.
- In the future, NAGASE is developing a measuring system that can handle not only automatic measurement but also automatic correction processing.
