Wheel form grinding(Wheel form machining) is a grinding process in which a grinding wheel is formed to match the required workpiece shape and the shape is transferred. Generally, plunge grinding or creep feed grinding is used. The challenge in the wheel form grinding process is how to minimize the out of shape of the mold of the grinding wheel once formed.
