Medium-sized high-precision double-column type surface grinder with a completely new and ideal newly designed structure that overturns conventional concepts with NAGASE's unique IGTARP DESIGN.Compared with conventional single-column machines, the static rigidity of the machining point has been doubled and the dynamic rigidity has been improved by 1.25 times.This new-generation, mid-range, double-column surface grinder saves space, improves workability, and saves energy.

A 15kW high output motor is used for the grinding wheel spindle.
Up to ⌀510 x 75 mm wide grinding wheel can be mounted.

3.Highly Rigid Grinding Wheel Spindle for Heavy-Duty Grinding

The grinding wheel spindle is equipped with a 15kW high-output motor that can mount a grinding wheel up to ⌀510 x 75mm wide, achieving overwhelmingly efficient machining. Ball bearings are standard. Hydrostatic bearings can be mounted as an option.

The space-saving design of the new machine is 50% smaller than the conventional single-column machine.The SGX-126 has the smallest machine footprint in its class for the same machining area (According to NAGASE's survey).
The height of the SGX-126 from the floor to the top of the chuck is 850 mm.
