Setup changes are a major issue in the precision grinding of large workpiece. NAGASE's ultra-precision double column multitasking grinder has developed a vertical wheel axis that enables five-sided machining (cutting and grinding) of large workpieces. It is also possible to take advantage of the high precision of the machine's movement to perform various measurements on the machine. It is becoming a matter of course that NAGASE's machine can perform everything from pre-processing to finishing and measurement in a single chuck.
