Gear Grinding for Serration Punches and Other Gears Is Achieved on a Form Grinding Machine.
Ultra-precision small index (small index tables) were developed for high-precision grinding of serration punches and spline-shaped cylindrical gear components on forming surface grinders. As with the large-size indexing tables, there were no high-resolution, high-precision indexing tables in the small size range. 0.0001° resolution, non-backlash, and high torque despite its small size. Forming Grinders Can Be Converted to Gear Grinders.
≪Features of the Ultra-Precision Small Index (index table)≫
- High-precision, compact index table with NAGASE's unique structure that enables non-backlash and non-lostmotion.
- The standard indexing process for ⌀50 x 200 size workpieces is possible using a dedicated jig with both center systems.
- Indexing in the horizontal axis direction is possible when mounted on our various forming surface grinders, etc. (Vertical axis direction use is also possible upon consultation.)
- Specifications can be set according to the application, with indexing resolution from 1/1000° to 1/10000° and unidirectional positioning accuracy of 0.0003° or less.
- Fully closed control is possible on NAGASE's "Zero Series" ultra-precision forming surface grinder control software, which also supports indexing by synchronized control with multiple axes such as X-axis and Y-axis.
- Large spur gears, spline-shaped workpieces, or helical gears can be machined using "NAGASE's Ultra-Precision Gear Grinders".
