≪Features of the AI Grinding Wheel Surface Monitoring System GRIDE EYE®.≫
  • The grinding wheel surface is captured as it rotates on the machine in a very short period of time without removing the grinding wheel from the machine.
  • The all around and width of the grinding wheel is observed in an extremely short time.
  • The surface of a grinding wheel rotating at a circumferential speed of 1800 m/min (30 m/s) can be observed.
  • Continuous capturing of a specific part of the wheel surface at 1° intervals is possible.
    Images of the same point on the grinding wheel surface can be constantly measured, allowing comparison of measurement results.(e.g., comparison before and after machining/dressing)
  • The included software can be used to compare the condition of the grinding wheel surface before and after machining to obtain a differential image.
  • Observation of the grinding wheel surface after dressing prevents machining defects.
  • Dressing timing is optimized based on the results of grinding wheel surface observation.
