A Completely New Machining of Difficult-to-Cut Materials.

In contrast to conventional creep-feed grinding, which requires deep cuts and slow feed, fine cuts and ultra-high-speed table reversal are used,
High-reciprocating grinding minimizes grinding wheel wear and maximizes both efficiency and accuracy.
This revolutionary new form grinding machine is the result of NAGASE's advocacy and demonstration of this machining method.

Developed to Achieve Overwhelmingly High Efficiency and High Precision "Machining of Difficult-to-Cut Materials"

Developed to pursue ultra-high efficiency and high precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials such as Inconel, titanium, alumina, and SUS.
This high-precision, high-reciprocity, full-form grinding machine has a machining area of 180 x 130 mm and is equipped with grinding wheels ranging in size from 250 to 405 mm in diameter.
Designed to allow the dressing mechanism to be placed on the top of the grinding wheel.A rotary dresser (op) capable of highly efficient general form forming can be mounted.

High-Reciprocating Grinding That Achieves High Machining Efficiency and Suppresses Damage to the Grinding Wheel

High-reciprocity grinding with ultra-high speed table feed of 400 revolutions/min is possible.This enables the pursuit of efficiency as well as accuracy.
The fine infeed and ultra-high-speed table reversal reduces heat and wheel wear generated during machining, enabling highly efficient and highly accurate machining.

Maintains High Mechanical Precision Over a "Long Period of Time"

NAGASE's unique non-contact hydrostatic guideway is used on the longitudinal axis of the table.This prevents table height fluctuation during high-speed table reversal.
A non-contact high-precision hydraulic servo cylinder is also used for driving.Adoption of non-contact guideway and non-contact drive system.
The non-contact guideway and non-contact drive system minimizes deterioration in machine accuracy over long periods of use.

Table Layout and Operation Software

Designed to Be Highly Efficient in Matters Other Than Machining

Based on the SHS-15, which has a proven track record, the ZGP-15 is a thoroughly improved version of the SHS-15.
The ZGP-15 is designed for highly efficient machining down to the smallest detail.

Effective Use of the Space in front of the Machine

The machine body is equipped with a newly designed T-shaped integrated bed.The table has no overhang, stable machining is possible even when heavy loads are loaded.The saddle does not move back and forth compared to conventional machines, allowing effective use of the space in front of the machine.
The width of the machine is compact, while the door of the processing section is designed to be large, making it easy to accommodate production line and automation.

Various Jigs Can Be Easily Installed

The table is designed to allow placement of various jigs.
Magnetic chucks (op), system jig chucks (op), etc. can be placed upon request.

The Latest Operation Software, Zero3, Is Included as a Standard Feature

The latest interactive software "Zero3" for speedy and easy routine machining comes standard.
Detailed grinding conditions can be set for each process.Up to 5 setting conditions can be saved for each process.
Various functions necessary for highly efficient and accurate grinding of difficult-to-cut materials are included.
