1.Remarkable Machine Motion Accuracy and Excellent Rigidity of Machining Points

Ideal body structure by NAGASE's original IGTARP DESIGN. Compared with conventional machines, the static rigidity of the machining point has been doubled and the dynamic rigidity has been improved by 1.2 times. In addition to surface grinding, the machine realizes 2-axis and 3-axis synchronized shape creation machining and multi-piece automatic machining with overwhelming accuracy and quality.

2.3-Point Support High-Rigidity Bed Structure Is Adopted

IGTARP DESIGN has adopted a three-point support high-rigidity bed, A unique hydrostatic guideway, linear motor drive system for the left and right table guideway and cross rail guideway, also adopted a 15kW high output grinding wheel spindle motor. For SGX-104α, grinding wheels up to ⌀405 x 50mm wide can be attached. For SGX-126α, grinding wheels up to ⌀510 x 75mm wide can be attached.

3.Smallest Installation Space in Its Class

Installation area is reduced by 50% compared to conventional single-column machines.
Installation surface dimensions are 4.0 x 2.0 m for SGX-104α standard specifications and 4.9 x 2.54 m for SGX-126α standard specifications.
The "SMART THERMONICS®" further improves energy consumption by half compared to conventional models.

4.Supports On the Machine Measurement Unit (OP) and Shape Creation Machining

Equipped with Zero, an interactive CNC control system with a variety of functions.The Zero also supports compound shape grinding, multi-part grinding, crown grinding, and contour grinding as options.Smart 3D Probing" for 3D measurement on the machine, "SMART SURF-UP®" for machining any shape at will, and "SMART UNDULATION UP" for automatic straightening processing on a magnetic chuck without a dedicated jig are also available as options.
