2.Amazing Machining Quality

The combination of NAGASE's unique non-contact hydrostatic guideway and high thrust linear motors (left/right and front/rear), together with a linear scale with nano-resolution, provides amazing motion characteristics in both linear and synchronous motion. Multiple applications for flat, groove, forming, and contouring (OP).

3.Achieves Overwhelming Rigidity and Ultra-Efficient Machining.

The newly developed body structure, which makes full use of topology optimization methods, achieves ultra-high rigidity with minimal static and dynamic deformation. In addition to a main body that is more than twice as rigid as conventional machines, the newly developed spindle with an integrated head is 1.5 times as rigid as conventional machines. NAGASE's unique compact liquid-cooled ultra-low vibration motor has a high intermittent rating of 7.5 kW and is capable of heavy-duty grinding. Furthermore, the table feed speed has been improved to a maximum of 60 m/min. This enables ultra-precise and ultra-efficient machining, dramatically improving productivity.

Insulated Temperature-Controlled Covering That Maintains Machine Accuracy

Compared to conventional machines, the amount of oil static pressure is reduced by half. At the same time as saving energy, the tank size has been made more compact. The machine's installation area has been reduced by 44%. The rear of the machine is sealed and temperature-controlled (OP) with an insulated cover; the temperature of the hydrostatic oil, which is controlled with a resolution of 0.01°, is less affected by temperature changes in the installation environment.

5.Mechanical Structure with Outstanding Operability
Unit and Software Configuration with Excellent Expandability.

To improve workability, the operation panel is located on the left side of the machine to provide a wide line of movement for the operator when attaching/detaching workpieces and applying the grinding wheel. The foot of the machine is also designed to make it easy for the operator to get close to the machine. The control unit is equipped with the Zero series of highly functional interactive software that enables easy setting of grinding conditions, from simple flat and forming operations to advanced grinding conditions such as complex grinding and multi-part grinding. The machine's ultra-precise motion characteristics can also be utilized for high-precision on-machine measurement (OP).

6.The Ultra-Precision SMART DRESSER Series (OP) Can Be Mounted.

The dresser device can be selected according to the machining application. The Smart Dresser is a truing, dressing, and forming device for grinding wheels that is much smaller than the conventional size. The motor uses a unique high-torque DD motor, which has improved the rigidity of the main unit while reducing its size. This 100W-driven dresser is the most compact in the industry When considered in terms of capacity ratio.

7.Ultra-Precision Milling Spindle (OP) Can Be Mounted.

Spindle unit can be mounted for ultra-precision milling on a grinding machine (OP). Air hydrostatic bearings are used for spindles. ATC unit for tool change (OP) and tool measuring unit (OP) can also be mounted for continuous machining.
