The combination of NAGASE's unique non-contact hydrostatic guideway and high thrust linear motors (left/right and front/rear), together with a linear scale with nano-resolution, provides amazing motion characteristics in both linear and synchronous motion. The newly developed body structure, which makes full use of topology optimization methods, achieves ultra-high rigidity with minimal static and dynamic deformation. In addition to a main body that is more than twice as rigid as conventional machines, the newly developed spindle with an integrated head is 1.5 times as rigid as conventional machines. NAGASE's unique compact liquid-cooled ultra-low vibration motor has a high intermittent rating of 7.5 kW and is capable of heavy-duty grinding. Furthermore, the table feed speed has been improved to a maximum of 60 m/min. This enables ultra-precise and ultra-efficient machining, dramatically improving productivity.

The dresser device can be selected according to the machining application. The Smart Dresser is a truing, dressing, and forming device for grinding wheels that is much smaller than the conventional size. The motor uses a unique high-torque DD motor, which has improved the rigidity of the main unit while reducing its size. This 100W-driven dresser is the most compact in the industry When considered in terms of capacity ratio.
Spindle unit can be mounted for ultra-precision milling on a grinding machine (OP). Air hydrostatic bearings are used for spindles. ATC unit for tool change (OP) and tool measuring unit (OP) can also be mounted for continuous machining.
